Improving access to HIV prevention and treatment services through mobilization of faith leaders for HIV stigma reduction in Nigeria

Background
HIV related stigma and discrimination do not only hinder the chances of prevention, for early detection and treatment; it increases vulnerability to exposure and possibly death in most cases of concealments of HIV positive status. The “Improving Access to HIV Prevention and treatment Services through mobilization of faith leaders for HIV stigma reduction in Nigeria” project provides effective and replicable faith response against barriers to uptake of HIV services.
